Does anyone else have experience with ferrets liking things in a particular
colour?
 
When we got Sam, his previous person said, "He likes red things." I thought,
"Oh, sure, as if ferrets can tell colours." Well, within 24 hours he'd
stolen my red mouse pad and stashed a little plastic red bottle cap.
Nothing else has attracted him like my mouse pad.  I have fights with him
over it!  He sinks his teeth into it even while I'm using it and hisses when
I wrestle it away.  I don't let him have it, for his sake as well as mine,
as it's very chewable.  But it's a daily battle.
 
Does anybody else have ferrets with colour preferences?
