The publishers of Dr. Charlie Weiss' article on insulinoma will NO LONGER
send copies to anyone who calls the toll-free number listed a couple times
on the FML.  Whoever first authorized that probably had his/her wrist
slapped soundly.
 
I was one of the fortunate few to get a copy sent to me that way.  Despite
what they first told me, they will not give permission for any part of the
article to be posted on the web.  They will however give permission for the
article to be copied.
 
Thus I am making an offer to send one copy of the article to anyone in the
US or Canada who requests it and sends me their snail mail address.  I will
copy the article and provide envelopes.  Beth Comarow has generous agreed
to pay the postage costs.
 
Please note that I will be visiting family for Thanksgiving, and attending
a conference for a week in Dec, so I make no promises of quick response on
this!  But I urge everyone struggling with the question of surgery vs.
pred to get a copy and show it to their vet.
