Chaos in Charlotte. To any Ferreteers in the Charlotte, NC area. My son,
Alan, and his ferret, Eli, have a story to tell (and would like to discuss
by phone or in person, if possible.) Alan and Eli rent a room in an
apartment owned by a friend, Chris, and his parrot, Chico.

Well, last week the washing machine hose broke, or washer overflowed or
something, causing much damage in the apartment. The pets were fine at that
time, however. But the four of them had to move out temporarily to quarters
where other people were coming and going. It seems both pets were let out
of their cages and left unsupervised temporarily.

Eli finally got revenge on that noisy, rude, nasty, bitey parrot. Oops
that's MY opinion. Fact is-- the bird is dead, and Eli seems to be the
guilty party. Alan is wondering if he's going to have a place to live,
whether he will need to board Eli out for a while, or what is going to
happen. Both young men are quite upset, to say the least.

Alan does not have e-mail and temporarily no home. He can take short calls
at work at 704-541-7420.
