ferret baby teeth (milk teeth) usually are alone in the mouth from 2 to 6
weeks of age. At seven weeks, the adult canines start to erupt and crowd
the milk teeth. The milk teeth usually fall out at 8 weeks of age.

Other adult teeth come and baby teeth go after this, and are usually not
observed when pushed out. If a kit has trouble chewing for a day, soften
the food with water since a loose tooth inthe back might be his problem.
Kits, like puppies, can teethe, so watch the bedding for chewed spots and
small teeth.
