A friend has a new ferret that is scratching in front of the litter
box. They have one other ferret that they have had for several years
and just added the new one recently. He is not scratching just a little
bit but obsessively, and frequently during the wee hours. Dad is not
happy about being awaken, and they are looking for some advice. We have
suggested trying a different litter and maybe adding a personal litter
box so he does not have to share. Any other suggestions would be
appreciated.
