World News dated 3/10/2009

A wave of consolidation in the global pharmaceuticals industry swelled
yesterday as Merck bought its US rival Schering-Plough for $41.1bn
([GB#]30bn).

Unfortunately employees are usually the last to know the details. It
is the corporate way.
