Zip Ties are wonderful for that and a whole host of ferret issues.  They
work great for litter pans, keeping dishes in place, toys, hammocks in a
pinch, cage issues, playpen issues etc.  Once they are zipped tight, be
sure to snip off the remaining end so that you doing have an issue with
eyes or chewing.  You can get them at Walmart in the Automotive section.
Or right between Automotive and where they have the paint stuff.
