Greetings Ferret-folks,

My husband and I are about to do the ferret thing, and being the budgeting
people we are, we're trying to set aside a little money each month in the
ferret account so that we never run dry when vet bills come up. Never
having owned ferrets before, we're hoping some of you can give us a sense
of how much one can expect to pay to the veterinarian over the life time of
a ferret. (We know all ferrets are different, as are vet prices, we're
just looking for an estimate. I've already contacted some vets in our area
and know the costs of vaccinations, etc., it's the emergency costs that we
can't seem to estimate.) If any of you keep detailed records and want to
e-mail the facts to us, we'll be happy to crunch the numbers ourselves.
We'll be pleased with estimates too.

Thanks in advance for your help!
