I do agree. My Jonas and Cleo, and my other animals are making the
difference here too, and always have. The problem isn't of course
ferrets alone -- our own mortality is also hard to face. I hear the
documentary "Griefwalkers" is another good way to prise one out of --
out of what? paralysis? obsession? Ah, here it is -- dimming of the
brightness of life.

Here's a pair of my darlings -- baby donkey Biniam and his mother,
Sophie. He was 4 days old in the first pic, and had just been born
in the 2cnd pic.
