I just wanted to respond to Debbie's comment that we rarely hear stories
of GOOD experiences with vaccines. Out of the 6 ferrets we have been
blessed with, not one of them has had a bad reaction (other than a serious
case of the sulks) to either Fromm-D or Fervac.
My 6-month old son (human one) has nasty reactions to HIS vaccinations,
fever, screaming, apparant pain, and thinks he would prefer the distemper
shots! Course, he doesnt get Nutri-Cal during his shots, but after he
accidently taste-tested it, he decided it wasnt a great loss!
All but one of our ferrets runs up my shirt and hides in my hair after
the shots! I was really tickled to hear of another ferret that does that.
Gives our vet the giggles.
love from all,
Marya, Len, and the babies:
Zach (why cant i get ferret shots mom?), Molly (the hair thing was my idea!)
Emma (yes, but i scale the mom the fastest), Grover (have you noticed mom
tastes like nutrical? kiss kiss kiss) and Boo-Boo (what shot? where?)
