Thanks for that info on the fert food contents. I ran over and grabbed the
ferret food Which is MF Premium Ferret Diet.
 
The listing on this is as follows:
Chicken By-product,herring meal, corn, cod fish, chicken liver, dried beet
pulp,brewers yeast, sugar, salt..  then it goes into Vitamins that it
contains.  I learned something from you and I thank you for these posting
that you are taking time to do .  My question is..  What is Herring Meal?
