Laura,
How old is Pharoah? It may possibly be that the kid had an episode of
stress which caused a flux in the blood sugar levels -- which resulted in
this seizure, or the more probable scenario is that this kiud has
insulinoma. Insulinoma is a somewhat common condition in senior ferrets.
The recent lifestyle changes may have elevated his stress levels and made
him more susceptible to seizure or shock (during stressful times).

PLease consider having your vet monitor the blood glucose levels on Pharoah.
Also the next time this happens take a q-tip with some karo syrup on it and
rub the gums, if Pharoah responds within 15 minutes you have pretty
conclusive signs that there is a low blood sugar condition.

Sending well wishes your way.
Fondly in ferrets,
Alicia
a shelter Mom
