I have a "huge" bag of orchid bark that I bought when I got my hedgehog,
to be used as his bedding. Well, I stopped that shortly after he came
home with us (he has indoor/outdoor carpeting and soft fabrics now).
Does anyone know if this would be acceptable as litter for my ferrets (not
bedding, of course!)? I am going through quite a bit of "Yesterday's
News;" I'm willing to spend whatever it takes to make sure my kids have a
safe, healthy litter box, but if orchid bark is safe for them (no dust, no
blockages, no respiratory dangers, etc.) I would just as soon use it. Any
advice/ideas/experiences in this would be very helpful.

Thank you,
