My baby has cracked fingernails.  The main problem with this is that threads
from her blanket get caught in the crack.  I have to work the tread
backwards out of the crack to free her.  I'm not sure if this is painful to
her or not, but I think that it might be by the way thet she pulls her paw
away when I am removing the thread.
 
Anyway: Is there something I can do to avoid her nails cracking?
