Hi everyone,
I haven't been on e-mail for a while and have consequently missed a lot of
FMLs, so apologies if some of this stuff has been covered before. Illura
finally has a sister! Well, we had originally tried a male with her, but
he turned into such a bully (biting to draw blood) that I couldn't even
have them out at the same time. So back he went (and was adopted
immediately by someone else, by the way), and I brought home little Lola
(full name: Lola Pogo Sillybutt) from the same shelter. She is cute as a
bug (dark spots on her eyes and a pretty gold splotch on top of her head)
and has a fetish about empty soda cans... she decided that every empty can
in the kitchen ABSOLUTELY NEEDED to be in my room instead, so now my decor
is very interesting indeed. I was originally going to write and ask about
how to acclimate strange ferrets to each other, but they seem to have taken
care of that themselves. They don't really fight at all, just chase each
other a lot and hiss, but come naptime they're curled up together in the
same hammock.

There is more I want to ask (the "worried about Illura" bit) but it could
get long, so I'll put it in another post.

Rachel, Illura, and Lola
