So some people are worried that if this guy gives up all his ferrets,
he and his family won't be able to eat?

I think that's ridiculous.

The best thing for the people - not to mention the FERRETS - would be
to give the ferrets up, clean up, get on public assistance if
necessary, and get a job.

I know Ohio doesn't have the best economy, but anyone who needs a job
CAN find one (through a job agency if necessary, can't make a lot of
money that way, but you CAN feed yourself, and once you have some
experience you can look for higher paying jobs). I don't think a 90
year old man SHOULD work, but his kids sure could.

They'd still be poor probably, but quality of life would be better
for ALL parties involved. The ferrets wouldn't have to live in those
conditions, and the people wouldn't have to be around those conditions
either.
