Hi Anon.  I have three ferrets, two are female sables and one male albino.  I
agree with you on the sables being a little smarter.  My albino ferret (Ruby)
can't climb very high, nor run as much.  He is still a sweetheart, but very
mellow.  When the other ferrets play, he has a hard time keeping up, and
really doesn't care to always play with them.  Also, my two sables will sit
for a treat, he won't.  I don't know if it is because he is a albino, or his
age, or even him being a male.
I wonder if anyone else has notice that kind of behavior?
