Thank you so much for the responses! You are all so wonderful!

I always reply to everyone individually, but I got so many I decided
to let everyone know on here.

The vet did a barium x-ray today and found no obstruction.

She suspects "Proliferative Bowel Disease" and my girl Isabelle is now
on an antibiotic called "Chlor Palm" which can be poisonous to humans
so I am to wear gloves while giving it. She also got a stool sample to
be checked. Her weight loss and the constant straining led her to this
conclusion.

It can also be contagious so I have to watch my other ferrets and I
have to check Isabelle for a possible prolapsed rectum.

I am very relieved and grateful.
