Sorry to hear about your ferret's chronic problem.  If it is just 1 side
of the nose that is having the discharge then tumor (lymphoma) or foreign
body would be most likely.  The rhinoscopy is the best thing to do to try
to find out what is causing the problem.  Have you checked with the vet
school at The University of Montreal?  It sounds like it would be closer
to you then going to Guelph.
