>Six (6) month old female ferret for sale to a good home.

Hi. I *may* be out in the Toronto area later this summer, though probably not
until July or August. If so, and you haven't sold her yet, I'd love to drop by
and see your little ferret girl. I've been thinking of getting another ferret
so my fuzzy little girl Cassidy would have someone close to her own 'hyper-
level' to play with. Some of you may recall that I have been concerned for a
while with the lack of playfulness of my other ferret, Buddy. You'll be happy
to hear that for the last several weeks, he has perked up immensely, so that
he actually gives Cassidy a run for her money :). I don't know if this is a
permanent change or just spring fever (both are neutered, by the way). Buddy
did perk up when I first got Cassidy last October, but within a few months
he seemed to lose interest. Maybe he was just taking it easy for the winter.
Anyway, though I'm in no rush to get a third ferret now that Buddy has perked
up, I was planning on getting one eventually, so *if* I make it out to Toronto
and *if* you still have your ferret, then I may be willing to make her part
of my happy, fuzzy family. I have no problem with the price you are asking.
Still, I obviously don't expect you to hang on to her on my account, so if
you find a good home for her before then don't hesitate to send her there.
I also let a friend who may be interested in getting a ferret and who just
moved to Ottawa know that yours is for sale. Oh, what's her name by the way?
Is she typically bouncy and playful for a ferret? What sort of white markings
does she have? I'm glad to hear she doesn't bite. Cassidy, at just over nine
months age, still bites sometimes during play or to show affection. Usually
she just puts her teeth on me without *really* biting, but occasionally she
still bites pretty hard (though never hard enough to draw blood). Do you know
about what she weighs? Buddy's about 2 3/4 lbs, and Cassidy's around 2 1/8.
Anyway, maybe we should move any further discussion to email, to keep Chris's
expenses down. By the way, Chris, you were aware that Lorene Turner (formerly
Ferret List Member [log in to unmask]) has moved to Ottawa, weren't you?

John, Buddy, and Cassidy

[Not really. She left FML a while ago. Linda Gowsell of skdad.usask.ca
has moved to Ottawa too.

As for bandwidth... Generally conversations that are between two people
should be by personal email. But don't be too concerned about bandwidth
anymore - I've cut operations costs by a factor of 15... What you should
be concerned about is dumping so much stuff in people's mailboxes that
they'll start unsubscribing.]
