About a month ago I posted to find a cage for my 6 ferrets. I am just happy
to say that I am picking up a beautiful cage today custom made. Thanks a
lot to everyone who sent me stuff.

I worked at a petstore for about a year, here in Knoxville. On one of my
days off, a lady brought in two ferrets and gave them to us. There was no
information about them. She didn't know anything and she wanted to get rid
of them because she was moving into a nice house. As I came into work I
noticed them, because I was the ferret lady. There was a female, very small
and scared, she must weigh no more than a pound.

The male I was informed was about 4 months old. From what I can tell they
were both neutered/spayed and decented. Anyway, I adopted them just because
I wanted to care for them and knew nobody would buy them. MY QUESTION: I
have no clue if they had rabies or distemper shots. My other 4 are all up
to date. Should I just get them shots even if they had them within the past
year? I have had them about a month now. They are both healthy except
Shivers (my little girl) is so darn small. Rambo is a young ferret (very
active) and he has 2 blue dots in his right ear.
