Hi everyone,

I found out tonight that the emergency vet that I normally use sold his
practice and no longer works there. The new staff there does not work
with ferrets, or rats, which I have also. Luckily, I wasn't calling due
to an emergency this time.

I am really concerned about this because all of the regular vets in my
area seem to refer emergencies to this same place. As far as I know,
there are no other emergency vets nearby.

I'm located in central PA, about an hour south of Williamsport. I was
hoping that someone here might have some suggestions for a ferret
knowledgeable emergency vet near this area. I would hate to have an
emergency come up, and be wasting precious time trying to find a vet,
so I wanted to start searching right away. I know there are vet
listings available everywhere, but I'm not sure which places would
have ferret knowledgeable services after normal business hours.

I would greatly appreciate any help you might have.

Take care,
Jen
