The hardest part of loving you,
is sad upon me now.
I thought that I'd be stronger,
and shed no tears somehow.
 
But here you lie and soon you'll go,
my tears they flow as rain.
Goodbye my sweet, off to the Bridge,
where we will meet again.
 
Oh, here you lie upon my lap,
the Bridge, a breath away.
You'll soon be gone, but love lives on,
within my heart to stay.
 
Please know my love will always be,
and never fade away,
My heart will cherish memories,
'till I'm with you someday.
