Bella does that thing, too. She paws at the dish a few times, then
snorkles her whole head in the bowl (think huge plastic dog bowl)
before taking a drink. I always thought she was "digging" for
fresher water, but I'm just a hoomin, so what do I know...

She and Oscar have also taught me that all water tastes better when
licked off of the floor. Come to think of it, the food seems to be
better that way, too.
