The Ferrets NorthWest Shelter on Mercer Island took a call today from Tonya
Ward of Tacoma Washington who has three of four ferrets she wants to find a
shelter for.  Two of the three are already fixed and the third one is a
burned-out female breeder.  The fourth ferret is to be retained by the
owner.  The three ferrets are five years old.
 
Since the North West Ferret Association director is located in the Kent
Auburn area south of Seattle, much closer to Tacoma than am I, I have
suggested to Tonya that she turn over to the NWFA director her three
ferrets.  He then can place them in the new Seattle shelter that is just
getting underway under the charge of Liane Beckwith and Charlene Schuster.
 
Thank you for helping to shelter these ferrets.
