We are supposed to be taking in a young ( approx 6 month old) female
"mini dachshund" within the next couple of days, but we have a concern
about doxies and ferrets -

Does anyone have experience with Dachshunds and ferrets in the same
household??? How about with them being very small and young when
introduced ? This pup is used to kids and animals they say-

Our ferrets are in their ferret room exclusively- with free run all
day and caged at night, but when we are in there our poodle/bichon mix
1 1/2 yr old comes in & wrestles with them under our supervision.

So we need to know the potential for problems with the pup and the
ferrets- but would like to know people's actual experience -
