To the FML: Colleen and I want to thank you for the wonderful response that we
 got following our
notice of Oscar's passing. Your outpouring of sympathy cheers our spirits in a
 difficult time.
Even though a passing is expected, it is still a sad time when it occurs. We
 feel lucky to have
shared our lives with him for 5 years. I hope to personally respond to each and
 every one who took
the time to send a message, but it may take a few days. I will have to catch up
 on the medical
items first.

Yesterday, Pam Grant posted that my animals were on Ferret's Unmasked - yes it's
 true. Oscar is
there, wandering around, playing, and wrestling with the other ferrets - I think
 he is playing with
Christmas tree lights in one shot. Probably the ferret of mine who gets the
 most air time is
Mitt, who is the ferret having so much trouble getting the big yellow crab
 through the bathroom
door. My wife Colleen does narrate the video, and she is in there, too. Of
 course Gandhi and Mae
used the footage which is the least flattering to us, but the ferrets show up
 well. (Actually, it's
all home movies, which were shot on Super VHS, so they were usable....)

On to your questions - as usual, I will try to answer the most urgent ones
furst, but I'll get around to
all of them eventually. I see Dr. Weiss has been able to log back on to AOL.
 Hopefully he'll get
some of them knocked off also.)
