Shame on you for calling me stupid just because you had a bad experience
with a vet and your dog. There is a simple fix for your ferret that was
having a hard time breathing and if the vet wanted to euthanize him, that's
ok. As much as I know about ferrets, I won't often put myself in the
position to make that decision to euthanize. I let the vets do that. I
don't believe in letting as friend suffer either. There are drugs for
that. If my friend can be conscious and pain free, let them live. If
surgery won't improve their life, I let them go. Since May 2000, I have
been on oxygen, with only 2/3 of my heart working and myopathy in my feet
and legs so bad from my diabetes I can't walk some days. Without my
oxygen, I would really be suffering. Yet each and every day that I wake
up and just experience life that most people just take for granted is a
wonderful thing for me. Even sitting here writing to someone who thinks
I'm stupid is a pleasure you can't imagine. I think now I'll go sit on my
front porch and isten to the birds sing and watch the neighborhood cats
play, something that a lot of people and animals won't get to do today.
