Something very odd. When I rescued this little guy from animal control
all seemed fine. About 2-3 weeks later my husband noticed that his
bottom gum/lip area was really red. Upon further investigation it
almost appears as if the gum is swollen up around the bottom little
teeth, only the nubs are showing. Took him to the vet, we tried a
couple of antibiodics thinking it could be an infection or from trauma.
This little guy was a stray that ended up in animal control. After the
round of antibiodics no change. It does not look like gum disease. Has
anyone seen anything like this? It doesn't impact his eating..he's a
big 4+ lb boy. THANKS!

Shelley
