Hi, I have a question. Having recently become a multi-ferret owner, I
was wondering if having free run of the house could cause weight loss. I
have 3 that retire to different drawers for sleeping and they are not too
concerned about returning for to the cages for food every 2-3 hours. And
1 total whacky guy who just runs and runs. They seem to have lost weight
since they are here and I am wondering if it is because they are not caged
for 12hrs a day and are not as interested in eating .. They look fine and
are very lively and alert. I would appreciate any comments on whether this
is a good practice. They are so good and someone is here all day so I
would prefer to let them "run". Thanks for any comments.

Regards,
Carol
