It's a long shot, but talk to you vet abouut using Tylan to control the
diarreah in you ferret.  Tylan is a low grad antibiotic whose off labe use
is the tratment of diareah in dogs, cats & ferrets.  A very low dose iin
the water bottle will go a long way.  It might be easier on the ferret
than the pred.  This is a personal opinion and not a subtitute for proper
vet dianosis and treatment.
