Yes, several success stories with Melatonin. We started out after an
adrenal surgery did not bring about the long term improvement we had hoped
for, and the Lupron did only for about a month. It took about 4 weeks on
the Melatonin before we saw significant decrease in the ferret's vulva and
the beginnings of hair regrowth.

A second one, a male with aggressive bilateral adrenal cancer, was put on
Melatonin nearly a year ago. The adrenals were such a "mess" that the
right was never removed. It took about 4 - 6 weeks, but now his fur looks
fine and he has no indications of prostate problems, which is always our
biggest concern with male adrenal tumors. At four pounds, he gets almost
2 mg of Melatonin each evening. We haven't found that the timing is that
critical, so we give it about 9 PM in the evening, when we do the ferret
roundup before bed.

We use the liquid Melatonin. It's available at GNC, and we've seen it at
Walmart. Much easier to give than the pills.
