I've had exactly the same problem as Keiko described with ants swarming
over the babies' food.  I just sprayed the perimeter of the bottom of the
cage and the area around the bowl with insect surface spray.  It's done the
trick very effectively with the ants, and the babies have suffered no ill
effects.
