One of the special little trademark things that go on during Ferret
Symposiums are little surprise and/or anonymous gestures and gift
giving. I remember Judy Cook hearing a knock on the door at one event,
opening her room door, and seeing a darling white ferret-angel doll
sitting on the floor in front of the door just for her. It was a
gorgeous thing. And it held some significant meaning to her. A friend
noticed her interest and did this special thing for her. This last
symposium Linda Iroff, Fran Prager, Sukie Crandall and BIG found
tootsie roll ferret poopies on their dishes, computers, etc.. I don't
know who did that, but that was hilarious. I'll never forget Frans'
reaction. Special gestures and gift giving goes on all of the time at
these things.

I brought home my goody bags, and opened them up at home. I felt like
it was Christmas! As I was pulling out treats, duck soup, coupons,
toys, etc ... my eyes widened. In the bag ... was something from one
of the two big raffles. When I helped hand out the prizes during the
raffles, one of them stood out and caught my eye. It was a teeny tiny
figurine of an albino ferret laying on a red blanket. It was so well
made. I was caught up with its face and it's eyes in particular, which
were jewels. I swear, I did not act any differently around that prize
than many of the other awesome things I gave out. But I must have,
because I don't remember who won it!!! I remember the general area
that I walked it to. That's it. I remember making sure that the winner
saw the glowing eyes. And now ... here it was in my bag, in Chattanooga
TN. I bet my face was priceless when I found it. I felt my face fall
into disbelief. Like ... wait a minute. But ... but ... that was in
Pittsburgh. It cant' be here. Wait. Last saw that in someone elses
hands. I had to be hallucinating and it took a good minute or two to
realize this was in fact real.

Okay so now, the embarrassing part. A), I did not look in the bag until
after I got home rather than while I was there like I should have. B),
I dont remember who won this so, therefore I don't know who did this
sweet thing for me! I know anonymous things can be fun and to make
people wonder can be fun. But the only thing better than being on the
recieving end of this sweet gesture would be to thank you and to think
about you everytime I see this little ferret. Could you let me know who
you are?

My new little ferret is on my bedroom shelf next to two same size
figurines!!! I happen to have a little Deva creation of Dippy. And Kat
Parsons bought me a statue of Jubilee Spirit with buttefly wings
(butterflies have a special meaning there). They both look exactly like
the ferrets they represent. Well, now instead of one personal ferret, I
have two. The girls are Shenanigins and CRACKERS!. CRACKERS! was given
to me for Xmas by Renee Downs (and Cindy S I suppose!). This little
ferret that just got, is her exact likeness! So all my girls are
together. :D It's so cool when something is such a coincidence like
this. Its the best.

Thanks again!
