Hi! I was reading your post on the weekend about Dinky. I just had a quick
comment - this is NOT a flame. I have one ferret who has a broken tooth,
and she gets along just fine. THe tooth does not bother her or anything,
she can eat all right etc...

I was just wondering why you would get her tooth pulled? (you mentioned
going to the dentist).

Now, I know nothing about your little Dinky or the condition of the tooth,
I was just curious and hope you can maybe elaborate a bit on the tooth ...

thanks,

Funny story ..........

I have four little ferts, whom I have to play with in 3 sets. Thelma alone,
Louise alone and then Bartles and Jaymes together. Yesterday, I let Thelma
play in the ferret room and Bartles and Jaymes were in her cage. (This is
quite the cage here OK, we're not talking some small cage - they probably
get more exercise running up and down the five ramps and 6 shelves than they
do in the rest of the place!) Anyways, Louise is bopping around and I am
doing dishes in the kitchen (just off the living room where the cage is) All
of a sudden it is too quiet so I peek out and sure enough - TROUBLE!!
Louise has climbed the cage and is digging in the plants and flinging dirt
everywhere - including all over Bartles and Jaymes who at this point were
unsuccessfully trying to have a nap. So, naturally I pick up Louise out of
the plant and shake her off and start to laugh because she is filthy and
loving every minute of it. (Of course then I had to clean it all up and
poor Bartles is terrified of the vaccuum!!)

REQUEST:
I am going to be writing a "story" about - WHAT FERRETS DO - (funny things)
can you people send me in short little funny quirks about your babies?

thanks

Well, must run, hugs and kisses to all your pets ...

Marion
Thelma and Louise (who don't like each other anymore)
Bartles and Jaymes (who didn't like their "new" shower)
Oscar and JD (minous) (who have still not figured out what to do with
these things)
