Rebecca posted that her ferrets have alot of fun with the inexpensive pipes
that can be purchased at certain home improvement stores.  I have also
purchased several sections for my ferrets and the cats are amused also.  I
have fashioned a circular pattern with "spokes" emanating from the circle.
The cats love to chase the ferrets while they are in the pipes.  The claws
make a clattering sound that attracts the cats and it is funny to see the
cats try to figure out which exit the ferrets will be poking their heads
out of.
 
And of course the ferrets have fun running around the living room (ferret
play room) chasing after one another and then diving into an open pipe
end.  Just to keep things amusing, I will rearrange the pattern to keep
the ferrets interested in figuring out new means of travel.
 
The only problem is that the furniture gets in the way.
