Hello all,

Well we have had our little one now for about three weeks (thats about three
weeks since I last posted anything here), and he and the older ferret are
getting along a little better, but they still fight or play-fight most of
the time they are together. I am wondering if they will ever bond up
completely. The older is almost six months old now and isn't really nervous
about the youngster anymore, but just a little aggressive. Is there an
activity that I might do with them, that might help the two bond up a little
better?

Okay, next question. We currently have Simon, our older on Heartguard.
When is a good time to start the younger one on it? We live in an area near
many rivers, and there is a large incident of heartworms in the area. Just
a little concerned about the summer.

Huh..third question. We purchased our little one though a breeder. When we
bought him, the woman running the facility said that at 7 1/2 weeks our
ferret had two distemper vaccinations. She then suggested we wait three
weeks and get another (which is now), and then another in three months.
This was a different schedule than the one we took with Simon. He just had
three vaccinations in three week intervals. What do you think? Should I
just go through the whole regiment of vaccinations or should I take the
breeders advice and do as she says? I have yet to consult my vet, but I
thought it might be a good idea to have a seccond opinion before I walked
into the vets office.

Well thanks for the time. I know that I am wasting mine trying to teach my
fuzzy children compasion and buddha nature.
