Hi Everyone,
I thought I had gotten up in the middle of the night and was sleepwalking
or something when I read this:

>I have a ferret who has a swollen vulva. Period!! No hair loss. She
>is eating good and poops are normal and her activity level is the same.

It was almost the exact same way I began my post on the FHL about a week
ago about one of my rescues. Are we having some kinda epidemic around
here? What's up with that? The only difference between mine and
anonymous, is the fact that the rescue I got in is not a Marshall Farms
ferret. No tattoos. And the other ferrets are treating her very
different since the symptoms appeared. I am wondering if the anonymous
poster has noticed a change in her odor? Mine has gotten a really
"strong" pungent skunky smell to her. Not the normal musky smell.
Hope your Fuzzy gets well...

PS: I would like to let you know that I will be having a table set up
at the Petco store in Muskegon, MI to sell raffle tickets for the litter
box of goodies ($1--7/$5) from 1pm to 4pm and to answer questions about
ferrets. I have lots of hand outs. I will also be selling homemade
hammocks (all types) to raise money for the rescue. If anyone is close
enough, stop and say HI...I would love to meet any of you FMLer's!
