Hi all!  I had to take my sweetheart Dookie McBearMouse to the vet Friday
due to a reaction she had to some flea bites she got.  The poor little thing
only had 4 fleas on her when I caught them, but in two days she had
scratched herself raw!  I ran her into the vet,and he suggested that I get
some over the counter Cortaid to apply to the raw skin.  Well, thank
goodness it's worked miracles!  Dookie didn't like having it rubbed on her
the first couple of times, but has since realized that the ointment will
neither hurt nor kill her! :)  She actually cuddles up to me when I apply it
to her back, and I've already noticed the rawness going away.  My other
fuzzie Stella had some fleas on her as well, but had nowhere near the
reaction to them.  We have since bug bombed and shampoo'd them, and so far
so good.  Here's hopin...
