I recently bought a harness for the ferrets and tried it out on two of
them. They both hated having it put on, but once I took them outside,
they were their usual exploratory selves.

There is snow on the ground here, and I was getting worried about them
freezing their toesies, so they only stayed out for maybe 5 minutes each.
How cold is too cold for them to be out, and how long can they be out?
What about in the heat? I imagine hot pavement would burn their toes.

Any ferret walking suggestions is greatly appreciated. I would imagine
I'll get alot of stares from the neighbors.

Thanks much!
