Welcome to the list!  It's great to hear that you are really interested in
ferrets.  However, please don't leave them in your car!  Even with the
windows half open, the heat will easily become unbearable for them.
Temperatures over 80 degrees can be too much for their little bodies.  For
that matter, with the windows half open, they could easily escape!  Perhaps
you might consider purchasing a large cage that you could leave at work in a
safe place.
