I have a couple questions about food. First, is science diet kitten food
okay to give ferrets, or should I be giving them something else (I've heard
suggestions for Iams' Lamb/rice, for instance). Second, if it isn't, what
is better and, if possible, what shape is the preferable food? A couple
times this past week I've found Elsa eating (rather, inhaling) her food and
stopping suddenly, rubbing her paws on her mouth and jumping around. Turns
out Iams kitten food (triangular-shaped) got stuck in the roof of her mouth.
Has that ever happened to anyone else? I removed it a couple times, and one
time she managed to remove it. Very odd, that's never happened before (that
I've seen),it has me worried.
