For those FMLer's in or near Vero Beach, FL
 
The Ferret Friends of Indian River County will have a special meeting this
Saturday (March 14, 1998) at the FFIRC Shelter 8775 20th Street, lot 614
(Chere McCoy's house) beginning at Noon.  Dr. Brenda Ernest and technician
"Dana" will be on hand to demonstrate 3 types of Ferret Physicals
 
1. An incoming Ferret Physical will be given to Larry-Man (just arrrived at
   Shelter)
2. A yearly Physical will be given on Shetler Ferret - Louie
3. An abbreviated Physical with a CBC will be given to Randy-Man a ferret
   with Adrenal cancer (he had one adrenal removed in August and also had
   growth taken of pancreas).
 
Also Dr. Ernest will be answering questions on general health and will
demonstrate how to check for enlarged spleen, first signs of adrenal
problems, earmites, etc.
 
Light Refreshments will be served and there will be a raffle for ferret
items.
