Mark, if your vet is on line she/he can ask other vets for pointers
through the FHL:
http://www.smartgroups.com/groups/ferrethealth

There is a list of webistes (most of which have consulting info) for
ferret vets within the references at:
http://www.ferretcongress.org/

That includes both Doctors Deborah Kemmerer and Charles Weiss who
have teaching videos.

Of the veterinary texts many have such info, but I think that Karen
Purcell's which is available through the AAHA Press is possibly the
most step by step one for procedures.

BTW, has anyone heard a definite date for the release of the second
edition of _Ferrets, Rabbits, and Rodents_. Will Saunders be doing
the second one, too? It has not been mentioned in my recent Saunders
sales materials.
