With all the idiots in Mich killing supposed rabid ferrets, what happened to
all the data from the rabies shedding studies done at University of Kansas?
 
And what kind of moron would believe a ferret could be a rabies carrier for
6 years and ask them to cite the studies proving this piece of tripe....
Demand proof of their claims a rabid bat would fly into a house just to bite
a ferret...Bats don't make a habit of entering homes and stalking ferrets in
any studies of bats I've ever seen...
 
The Kansas studies showed ferrets given skunk rabies died before they
reached the shedding period in every case...they also did not become vicious
when rabid, but depressed and quiet....
 
Someone should demand the vet involved be removed from their job as
incompident unless she can PROVE every one of her outragious claims about
rabies in ferrets with hard evidence...Have her cite even ONE case of rabid
bats entering homes and giving ANY animal rabies....Have her show proof of
bat rabies shedding studies for dogs and cats...Or gerbils, hamsters, guinea
pigs, rabbits, horses, goats, sheep or pigs........
