The hind-end weakness, along with the sleeping and tiring more quickly are
signs of insulinoma.  If she is scheduled for surgery, your vet should also
check her pancreas carefully and remove any nodules and surrounding tissue.
 
In the meantime, make sure she eats frequent high protein meals.  And you
may want to move her food and bed to the lower level of the cage.  You will
not want her climbing for several days after surgery, so just remove any
ramps then.
 
With the surgery a month away, you should watch her closely for any
worsening of signs.  Your vet may want to test her blood sugar after a
3-4 hour fast, and start her on prednisone if warranted.
