In regards to the dog breed question, my Dobermans get along great! (My
old girl was 8 when we got the first one, the pup was 9 mos. and a rescue)
My mom's cocker pees and runs from them, and sisters Border Collie licks
her chops and would love to eat them...

For the cat person, My one Balinese hates the ferts-she has claws, growls
and runs away. She does not hurt them. The declawed cat loves them.

I give my ferts T/D cat for treats to help with the tartar. I also give
them the hairball food for treats. The vet said it was a good idea.
