With vaccine reactions being so common in ferrets it pays to have vet do
them and to stick around afterward for about 30 to 45 minutes.
Besides,it's the perfect time for the annual exam to be done.  What would
you do if the ferret collapsed unconscious with respiratory tract swelling
rapidly and blood pressure plummeting?  Vets have what they need right
there: epinephrine, steroids, sub-cu fluids, oxygen chamber, etc..
