Hi Everybody!
Your best friend Jerimiah here!  Woooooweee is it ever busy here at Ferret
Wise.  Let me tell you we has had lots of stuff going on-- there was a
blizzarfd IN the shelter-- I will write a whole story about that later-0-
adn we has been real busy with ferret business too!  Well Rex went to see
the vet lady and got his luprom shot which has made him most beautiful
again!  She oooed and awwweddd about his silky soft coat with not a single
hair missin-- now Sterling was supposed to go for a blood test too-- but
Mom had to take the OLD Mascot Bear instead.  Seems old Bear besides
sleeping a lot lately strated gaining lots of weight --his belly got so
big ( real fast too) he could hardlt amble about.
 
W3ell the vet lady listened to his heart and checked his hairless tail and
the lump there adn felt him all over-- then they took a special picture of
him from the inside out-- can you believe that?  Man-- makes you wonder who
would want to look inside when we are so beautiful outside-- oh yes, then
she came back and talked to shelter Mom.  Seems the old codger has the
distiunguished condition that all hard working mascots here have gotten--
a big heart.  Well of course Mom knew Bear had a big heart- but this is
somfin' different.  His heart is making him a water ballon-- so he now has
to take some special medicine for that.  Phew-- glad they can fix it!
Anyway the report is that Bear has been takinghis meds adn slowly he is
starting to act hisself!  Wow that is scary cause we don't want him sick
for the holiday.... so
 
Sterling got to go to the vets yesterday and he had a checkup and a blood
test and got his shot.  He is full of himself today and don't forget his
grapes.  He sure gets an attitude if there are no grapes at his snacktime!
Hahahaha wait til they get left out and I hide them!
 
So everyone is doin' kind of okay here-- now we gets a call... 2 kids at
the local humane society didn't get a home-- they needs some place to
go-- so Dave & Orin is coming here in the morning!!!  YAHOO-- NEW kids to
train... and I am a good teacher jest wait 'til you hear the next story on
our blizzard!
 
So shelter Mom is stripping out a two tier cage that will be their home
until they gets a family!  This is so neat I get new students for my ferret
magic class.  now you see a ferret, now you don't!  Hot dog!  how did she
know I was getting bored here?  I also heard ( well okay I didn't hear
her-- but Rex fills me in) once the kids is settled in we get to have a
shelter snow day-- a real snow day with lots of snow to play in!!!!  WOW
this is gonna be my first snow day-- I can't wait to tell you all about it!
 
So think good thoughts Mom saw these guys three weeks or so-- and said they
were bathed so much thiei coats were like wire brushes-- I bet she will get
them into great shape real soon-- they is just youngster so they should be
fine!  If you want to meet them jest holler-- but give me time to teach
them some good ferret tricks!
 
There is a few thing on ebay-- like a ferret calendar, Ferretville mug ( I
am the ferret running ahead of the rest!) and some usually fine sleeping
