There was an incident in the town of Fitchburg, Wi. in which there was
a fire in an apartment. The firefighters put out the fire and they were
airing out the apartment when they noticed a ferret cage. Five ferrets
that were in the cage were already dead but hey noticed one that was
still breathing. They took the cage outside and one of the firefighters
started to rub the one ferrets belly to try and keep him breathing, he
did it for about ten minutes and the ferret (Antonio) started to squirm
and regain consciousness and than another person from the city rushed him
to a Vet. Last word was that he was doing ok resting in an incubator.

Thanks to a concerned firefighter, one ferret was saved. But maybe if
the owners had one of those please save my pet stickers on their door
with the info on where their pets were located, all six might have been
saved. Anything, letting letting emergency personal know that there are
pets would help. Just a reminder to help protect your fur kids.

Hope please say a prayer for Antonio and greeters at the bridge watch
out for five, probably very scared fuzbutts, at the bridge. One of
them was just a baby. Sorry I don't know their names.
